Norwich Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust (HEART) will be exhibiting at the Royal Norfolk Show this week for the first time, with a range of activities, competitions and things to buy.
The stand will display an exhibition on the Norwich 12 iconic buildings and include the chance for visitors to win a weekend in the historic Belgian city of Ghent, courtesy of HEART’s EU-funded cultural heritage project SHAPING 24. HEART will also be running children’s dragon-related craft activities linking to next year’s Norwich Dragon Festival, and selling its range of heritage merchandise at special Show prices.
The HEART stand will also include the Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum, which HEART took over in August 2009. The Mustard Shop has not had a presence at the Show for many years and will this year feature the Shop’s popular old cart, which has been restored especially for the Show. There will be tastings of many different flavoured mustards, competitions and opportunities to buy.
Christina Lister, communications manager at Norwich HEART, said: “We are really excited to have a stand at the Royal Norfolk Show for the first time and are looking forward to meeting visitors in what promises to be a hot and busy couple of days.”
Come and see HEART and Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum at stand number 127 on Avenue 5, just off Third Drive (nearest gate is Dereham Gate) at the Royal Norfolk Show on 30th June and 1st July 2010.
