Uncle Roy's Mustard Oils contain 65% less saturated fat than olive oil and 150% more omega-3. This makes mustard oil the perfect choice for healthy cooking. The oils have a four year shelf life, and a high smoke point for shallow or deep frying. This oil was a Great Taste Gold award winner in 2007.
Pressing the mustard seed is done in two stages. The first stage produces an amber 'Light and Nutty' oil, with no mustard flavour. The second cold pressing, with added water, releases a second flow of amber oil, containing the strong and fiery flavour associated with mustard. This variation is the Uncle Roy's 'Light and Nutty' oil.
This Light & Nutty variety is ideal for use when cooking, or as an accompaniment with salads.
